The Gig

We’re on the lookout for passionate, experienced problem-solvers to join our Melbourne-based crew as we continue guiding over 1,000,000 Upsiders towards feeling really good about money.

Our Phone Support currently runs Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm with a possibility of expanding hours as we grow, working hand-in-hand with our turbocharged in-app chat, Talk to Us - both powered by our four signature Support values. Your mission? To bring those values to life in every conversation on the phone and be the magic behind Up Support.

You’ll be the ultimate go-to guru, tackling all sorts of questions, teaming up with your fellow support heroes, and making sure every Upsider gets the help they need. You’ll work side-by-side with our Account Verification and Talk to Us squads while mastering our in-house support software (aka your new best friend).

As the expert in this space, you won’t just do phone support - you’ll help shape it. Your voice matters, and you’ll have the power to reimagine the support experience, provide feedback, and collaborate with the wider team to take things to the next level.

If you’ve got customer service experience specifically with phone support and/or banking experience (preferred but not a dealbreaker) and are ready to be part of something awesome - let’s talk!

Experience, knowledge & skills
  • Melbourne-based and keen to work from our Collins Street (Melbourne CBD) office as often as possible.
  • Banking experience and knowledge of banking systems (preferred, but not a deal-breaker).
  • Previous customer service experience, with a background in phone-based support.
  • A track record of driving process improvements and finding better ways to do things.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools quickly.
  • Be Up for change and adaptable in an evolving environment.
Remuneration

The salary for this role is $70,000 plus super.
